More and more people are discovering the benefits of learning to meditate and rest the mind. Our meditation and mindfulness classes are suitable for complete beginners. We explore different approaches and techniques for settling the mind and improving calm, focus and self-exploration.
Our Meditation and Mindfulness classes in Essex offer a non-religious form of meditation, focused on training the mind. You do not need to follow or agree with any particular belief system. People from all faith backgrounds and none are equally welcome.
At our Meditation and Mindfulness classes, chairs, yoga mats and cushions are all available for your comfort. You do not need to be able to sit cross-legged or sit on the floor. You will be encouraged to find whatever positions are most comfortable to enable you to relax and calm your mind.
We do not meditate in silence for very long periods. You will have opportunities for short and medium length guided and self-guided meditations and mindfulness practices. We also take time to discuss our experiences and support one another.
Suggestions will be offered for home practice to help you integrate this life-enhancing practice into your daily life.
